Hello. Anyone out here using the President's Choice cel phone service
www.pc.ca/mobile ??
Pros? Cons? Likes? Dislikes? and the main question how is the
reception/service? What network do they use in Sask as they can only tell me
that they use the Bell service, but IIRC Bell is not here in Sask, so are
they using SaskTEl or??

And the same questions for Virgin Mobile.

Virgin uses SaskTel's network, my Virgin phone works everywhere my old
SaskTel phone did, including way out in the sticks. Virgin's pay as you
go is also far cheaper than SaskTel's, they update your old minutes to
expire at the new expiry dates when you buy new minutes, and if you buy
$100 of minutes, they don't expire for a year.

I don't think Virgin is cheaper than SaskTel for Prepaid, but I have never
actually checked it out in any great detail. Since Sask Party just passed
the law regarding gift cards not being allowed to expire, this means that
SaskTel prepaid minutes, because they are purchased on a "Card" no longer
expire. Virgin, because they are not a sask company will more than likely
skirt this law. BTW if you buy a 50.00 Sasktel prepaid card you actually
get 57.30 credit when you apply it to your account.

Good to hear this. Lots of info on this site.
Just to check I phoned the Sasktel office and as of Nov 10/08 they tell me
there is no expiry date on prepaid cards, but it sounds like in early 2009
there will be changes made to some part of sasktels fee policy or maybe the
whole system, they didn't seem too sure of just what it would apply to.
Thanks for the post.
